With more than 20 years of service in the United States Air Force, retired Chief Master Sergeant Gary Giarratano has the education and experience needed to run his Austin business, Phoenix Management, Inc. Gary and spouse, Donna, have managed and operated the service-disabled, veteran-owned government contracting business for the past decade.

Phoenix Management was founded in 1992 by Donna’s parents, Marjorie and Leonard Strickland. Today, Gary and Donna own the business. In fact, Donna grew up learning every aspect in the business, from proposal development to operations and finance. The Giarratanos continue to grow the business by establishing strong relationships with their clients. To date, Phoenix Management Inc. has successfully bid and managed over 75 government contracts, including its acquisition of Defense Contract Services, Inc. in 2015.
